We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Corporate Lawyer to join our team as Legal Counsel at WiseTech Global Limited. As a key member of our in-house legal team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our legal strategy and empowering our businesses to achieve our ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide proactive legal counsel across a diverse spectrum, including global M&A, corporate, commercial, governance, and regulatory matters.
- Partner with our impressive team to deliver cutting-edge legal solutions and contribute to groundbreaking projects.
- Collaborate with our General Counsel and other stakeholders to drive business growth and success.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- 4+ years of post-admission experience in corporate law, preferably with in-house legal expertise.
- Exceptional business judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated approach and ability to work autonomously with high accountability.
- Current NSW practising certificate (or equivalent in another Australian jurisdiction).
- Significant depth of experience in corporate work, commercial negotiation, and contract drafting.
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- M&A and integration projects
- End-to-end negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements
- Product counselling
- Dispute management and resolution
- Fluency in additional languages beyond English is a bonus.
