
Supporting Families Affected by Domestic Violence

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to provide intensive support to families affected by domestic and family violence.
Service Overview:
The service aims to reduce child abuse and neglect, providing a strengths-based approach to empower families to achieve safety and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide case management services to joint caseloads of DFV perpetrators and victims, with a focus on vulnerable families with children under 18.
- Develop and deliver parenting programs to enhance parents' competence and confidence.
- Facilitate access to quality children's services and assist families in accessing universal and specialist services within the local service system.
- Establish collaborative relationships with children, families, other agency staff, and communities.
- Complete internal and external reports relating to clients and the program.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in human services.
- Experience in domestic violence, family services, and child protection.
- Case management and delivery of living skills and parenting programs.
- Knowledge and understanding of issues facing vulnerable families and their children.
- Computer literacy in a Windows environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
- Current driver's license and senior first aid certificate.
