Job Title: Advanced Nutrition Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nutrition Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Deliver comprehensive nutrition assessments, personalized plans, and progress reviews for clients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, including IBS, IBD, coeliac disease, SIBO/IMO, functional dyspepsia, and food chemical/FODMAP intolerances.
  • Apply current evidence on dietary patterns, fibre diversity, prebiotics/probiotics, and food tolerance reintroduction to optimize symptoms and long-term gut health.
  • Support clients with medically diagnosed mould-related illness, collaborating with referring healthcare professionals and integrating nutrition strategies within the medical plan.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to support pain modulation, pacing, stress, and behaviour change, participating in case conferences and shared care pathways.
  • Interpret medically ordered pathology and validated breath/stool results, providing nutrition insights that inform the broader care plan.
  • Develop and implement resources, webinars, and group programs, such as Low FODMAP small groups, gut-directed nutrition workshops, and flare management modules.
About You:
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed performance expectations.
  • Proven ability to maintain high clinical standards and achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Ability to develop and implement new strategies and prioritize workloads.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive disposition, empathy, and patient manner.
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years ideal) in GI nutrition.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexibly and travel as needed.
