As a Rail Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of rail projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion. Your responsibilities will include providing input and oversight to pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives.
Your leadership skills will be essential in driving the project delivery process and completing work in accordance with Technical Assurance Organization (TAO) requirements. You will also be responsible for managing site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your engineering expertise and leadership skills while working on challenging rail projects.
About the Job
You will have ownership of defining and fulfilling UGLRL TAO obligations for construction in line with UGL procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practice.
Additionally, you will be accountable for all construction management to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and arranging approval designs as construction, and acting as technical representative and nominated signatory for all hold and witness points.
Qualifications and Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
- Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
- Rail Infrastructure Workers Card (RIW), plus relevant track access competencies.
