Rail Project Engineer (Track, Civil and Structures) - 265195. Location: Australia-NSW-Blue Mountains & Central West. Full-time.

Job Purpose: Provide input and oversight to pre-planning and construction delivery to achieve project time and budget objectives. Lead the project delivery process and drive completion of work in accordance with TAO requirements. Deliver works that satisfy the client's time, cost, safety and environmental objectives, and manage site subcontractors and suppliers to complete projects.
Responsibilities- Define and fulfil UGLRL TAO obligations for construction in line with UGL procedures, TfNSW requirements, relevant codes and standards, and industry best practice.
- TAO requirements and quality: review and arrange the approval designs as construction.
- Accountable for all construction management to ensure projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
- Accountable for design adherence or controlled changes in line with UGLRL procedures.
- Define and implement quality assurance systems and processes required to fulfil TAO (construction) requirements. Act as technical representative and nominated signatory for all hold and witness points.
- Any task directed by line management inline with experience and skillset.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Structures).
- Chartered Engineering Status, working towards, or with intention to apply.
- Rail Infrastructure Workers Card (RIW), plus relevant track access competencies (training can be provided by UGLRL, but mandatory for probation).
- NSW Construction Industry Safety Induction "White Card" (training can be provided by UGLRL, but mandatory for probation).
- Current Class 1 (Minimum) Driving License.
- 3-7 years' postgraduate experience with 1+ years site-based.
- Demonstrated delivery of minor/major projects to program and budget specifications in a leadership role.
