Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Associate Director at our organization.
- This is a senior leadership position that will require you to provide operational management and guidance to one of our most significant initiatives in Indigenous business.
- You will represent the organization across the Indigenous business ecosystem, working closely with academic leaders and staff to foster collaboration across research, teaching, and engagement.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Indigenous business and has experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and delivering operational sustainability.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the operations, governance, and compliance of the Centre.
- Driving financial sustainability, budget planning, and revenue-raising initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing a professional team that supports academics and researchers.
- Building strong relationships with Indigenous businesses, communities, philanthropists, and government stakeholders.
- Representing the organization publicly, strengthening its reputation across national and international networks.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Leading the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve the goals of the Centre.
- Collaborating with academic leaders and staff to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Indigenous businesses, communities, and government agencies.
