Job Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and collaborate with business units to deliver IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop functional documentation.
  • Translate high-level business/functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop software enhancements and fix bugs using RPGLE, SQL CLLE, and XML on the IBM Power System (AS/400).
  • Prepare and execute test plans to ensure quality delivery.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software analysis and design for the AS/400 and RPGLE/DB2 environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of the IBM AS/400 environment including RPGLE, CLLE, and SQL etc. is essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with users worldwide.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
