Key Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to manage and grow mid-market client relationships, drive retention and revenue expansion.

This role involves managing the full sales cycle from onboarding to upselling and renewals. You will be responsible for keeping your pipeline accurate and visible using Salesforce and HubSpot.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle from onboarding to upselling and renewals.
  • Pipeline Visibility: Keep your pipeline accurate and visible using Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Tailored Solutions: Deliver tailored SaaS solutions through a consultative, data-driven approach.
  • Growth Opportunities: Identify growth opportunities and structure deals that deliver real value.
  • Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to ensure clients achieve success with our products.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop strong relationships with them. You will also be expected to stay ahead of product updates and industry trends to boost engagement and adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of leading high-performing account management or customer success teams in B2B SaaS.
  • An understanding of pricing strategy and renewal mechanics.
  • The ability to upsell strategic services before - and having the numbers to prove it.
  • The confidence to hold your own in a room full of senior stakeholders.
  • Data-driven decision making and commercial acumen.
