Operations Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee our dry stack tailings operation at Karara Mining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce site safety protocols across all tasks and ensure operational targets are met while maintaining plant safety.
  • Supervise mechanical fitters, electricians, and plant operators, setting daily work priorities and collaborating with other departments to balance maintenance priorities.
  • Identify and address team competency requirements and work with site trainers to maintain a skilled workforce.
  • Track team performance against KPIs and contribute to strategic planning.
About You
  • A strong leader with technical expertise in fixed plant conveying and stacking and proven supervisory experience in similar operations.
  • Objective and fair in managing people and skilled in planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Proficient in management systems, spreadsheets, and presentations and possess strong knowledge of WA mining legislation.
