Senior Tailings Management Specialist

Expertise in tailings management is essential to drive business growth and ensure operational excellence.
About the Role- Lead a team of professionals in tailings facility and water dam projects at the technical advisory level.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the size and technical development of the team.
- Contribute significantly to project outcomes and establish a leadership reputation amongst international peers.
The role requires expertise in multidisciplinary approaches to tailings management. This includes collaboration with industry leaders in civil engineering, geochemistry, hydrology, hydrogeology, environment, and closure.
We are seeking an individual with:
- A minimum of 10 years of tailings engineering experience in a consulting role, with tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer, or eligibility to register immediately.
- Prior experience in senior/leadership roles within a tailings engineering team.
- Extensive project oversight and direction to clients.
- Familiarity with quality and risk management processes.
- Exceptional report writing and communication skills.
