Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for dry stack tailings operation at Karara Mining's facility in Western Australia. Enforce site safety protocols across all tasks, including enforcing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Oversee a team of mechanical fitters, electricians, and plant operators, setting daily work priorities to ensure operational targets are met while maintaining plant safety. Collaborate with other departments to balance maintenance priorities and identify areas for process improvement.

  • Manage team performance against KPIs, including tracking progress and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning and oversight, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in fixed plant conveying and stacking, with technical expertise in related systems and processes.
  • Proven supervisory experience in similar operations, with a track record of effective leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
