Site Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the safe and efficient operation of a dry stack tailings facility.
About the Role- Enforce site safety protocols across all tasks, maintaining a culture of safety among team members.
- Supervise mechanical fitters, electricians, and plant operators, prioritizing daily work activities to maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to balance maintenance priorities, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure operational targets are met while maintaining plant safety, making adjustments as necessary.
- Identify and address team competency requirements, working closely with site trainers to maintain a skilled workforce.
- Track team performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), contributing to strategic planning.
- Oversee subcontractors within your area, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- A strong leader with technical expertise in fixed plant conveying and stacking, with proven supervisory experience in similar operations.
- Objective and fair in managing people, skilled in planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Proficient in management systems, spreadsheets, and presentations, with a strong knowledge of relevant legislation.
