Job Overview

The Event Logistics Coordinator is a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of events. This position requires a highly organized and experienced professional to coordinate logistics and services for high-profile events such as the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling, drafting, and disseminating stakeholder communications.
  • Manage facility occupation schedules, handovers, handbacks, and defect reporting as needed for circuits.
  • Coordinate circuit paddocks, including liaison with contractors and teams where required.
  • Process invoices, track budgets, and coordinate financial deliverables.

Requirements
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline, such as event management, project/construction management, engineering, or business.
  • 3-4 years of demonstrated event experience.
  • Significant project management experience, including infrastructure coordination, stakeholder engagement, and cost control.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, build effective relations, and communicate with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands.
  • A full Driver's License and manual vehicle driving skills.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
