Job Title: Healthcare Professional

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Paramedic with a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment to join our dedicated team in remote Queensland.

This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality clinical care in a challenging and rewarding work environment.

The role operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (2/2) FIFO roster.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver primary and emergency healthcare, including advanced life support, trauma management, and resuscitation as required.
  • Conduct daily medical clinics, manage work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses, and facilitate return-to-work planning.
  • Liaise with internal and external healthcare providers for medevacs and specialist referrals.
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing, health surveillance, and facilitate health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry.
  • Facilitate health-related training programs including First Aid, CPR, Injury Management, and occupational health awareness.
  • Maintain medical facilities and equipment to a high standard, ensuring alignment with clinical governance and protocols.
  • Promote workplace health initiatives and deliver training sessions aligned with the Healthier strategy.
  • Uphold all health, safety and environmental requirements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) and CPR Certification.
  • Trauma Qualification (e.g., PHTLS or TNCC).
  • Current certification in Drug and Alcohol Testing (HLTPAT005 or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in remote or resource sector health service delivery is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage in multidisciplinary team settings.
