Job Title:** Executive Chef Lead

Location:** Australia

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum

Job Description:

The Executive Chef Lead will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking food, and maintaining kitchen standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for the industry, and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
  • Monitor food quality while preparing food.
  • Set-up and break down work station.
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
  • Check and ensure the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or higher) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm & welcoming demeanor.
  • Energising motivation and a passion for the industry.
