Job Opportunity: Governance and Risk Leadership

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our governance and risk functions, ensuring the organisation operates within legislative, regulatory, and strategic frameworks.

This role requires a collaborative leader with expertise in governance, law, policy, risk management, or business. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications and relevant work experience, including experience working in the public sector or other government bodies.

  • Lead governance and risk frameworks, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
  • Manage and chair the Audit, Risk & Improvement Committee (ARIC), representing and advocating for the organisation's interests
  • Oversee corporate registers, integrated planning, and reporting obligations
  • Manage the organisation's insurance portfolio and high-level claims
  • Act as the Public Officer and manage Freedom of Information (GIPA) and Privacy matters
