Enterprise Applications Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of defined service levels for specific enterprise applications.

You will provide customer-focused, high-level specialist advice and support to ensure end-to-end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes and providing high-level specialist advice on clinical enterprise applications.

About the Role
  • Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning using best practices in systems support and service delivery, within the ITIL framework.
  • Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors, and end users.
  • Provide timely application support activity reports to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the ongoing development, maintenance, and deployment of application-specific guides, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident/problem/test/change and configuration management.
  • Demonstrated ability in providing high-level specialist advice on and support for clinical enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer-focused ICT/Clinical Business environment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work collaboratively with people to make decisions.
  • Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical specialists, application specialists, vendors, and end users.
