**Job Opportunity:** Decorative Finishing Specialist

We are seeking skilled and experienced decorative finishing specialists to join our team. This full-time position requires individuals with a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Erect scaffolding and ladders, and place drop sheets to protect adjacent areas from paint splattering.
  • Prepare surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, fixing woodwork, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
  • Select and prepare paints to required colors by mixing portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying additives.
  • Hang wallpaper, match patterns, and trim edges.
  • Clean equipment and maintain work areas.
  • Repair windows and replace glass in wooden and metal frames (as needed).
  • Lay and repair wall and floor tiles (as needed).

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in Australia is essential.
  • Proven experience in painting and surface preparation.
  • Ability to work with different materials such as paints, varnishes, stains, and wallpapers.
  • Knowledge of scaffolding and ladder safety.
