We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Equipment Maintenance Coordinator. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the continued operation of our equipment and facilities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules and plans for routine maintenance activities, coordinating and prioritizing maintenance tasks with other teams, and providing input into capital project proposals and expenditure approvals.

You will also be responsible for continuously improving processes and procedures to optimize equipment availability and minimize downtime. This involves working closely with maintenance personnel and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality technical advice and support.

To achieve these objectives, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience in using SAP or similar ERP systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A trade qualification, tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Maintenance Management, and relevant planning experience in a similar setting.
  • Demonstrated specific maintenance experience within open cut mining operations.
  • Experience in using SAP or similar ERP system.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders from other departments effectively.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with a particular emphasis on Outlook, Word, Excel & MS Projects.
