Nutbush Farms is a family owned and operated Macadamia business. We have 250 hectares of macadamia trees planted in the Farnsfield district (between Bundaberg and Childers). Our trees are between 3 and 5 years old. At Nutbush Farms we are focussed on becoming a top performing orchard in the macadamia industry. We value doing each task in a safe manner, on-time and to a high standard. We currently have a permanent position available to join our small and close-knit team, reporting directly to the owner.

The ideal person will have some experience in the agriculture industry. You don't need to know anything specific about macadamias or horticulture. Our goal is to find someone with the right attitude, enjoys doing things properly and who is willing to learn.

The job entails a variety of tasks: Irrigation, slashing, spraying, general maintenance of equipment and the orchard, planting trees, record-keeping and other farm-related tasks required.

You must have the following:

  • a current manual Australian driver's licence
  • a reliable vehicle
  • rights to work in Australia
