Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Geelong hospital.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team in providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

  • Provide expert patient care, coordinate and supervise junior staff and students.
  • Educate patients and families on procedure outcomes, complications, and management plans.
  • Assist in completing incident reports and participate in documenting risk assessments and standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams using formal and informal channels.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to organizational standards and policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Recent clinical experience within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to identify and solve complex problems.
