Pharmacy Technician Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to contribute to patient care in diverse healthcare settings. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring safe and accurate medication distribution.
As a Pharmacy Technician, your key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately following physician orders and protocols.
- Maintaining appropriate medication inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and placing supply orders as necessary.
- Recording medication dispensing accurately and assisting in managing the pharmacy database.
- Offering medication information to patients, including dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
- Collaborating closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Medication Certification required.
- Prior experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in medication preparation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology.
