Chief Event Experience Manager

Osteria 20 seeks a creative hospitality expert to turn ideas into reality. As a key team member, you'll have extensive experience in hospitality with a solid understanding of restaurant and event operations.
We need switched-on individuals with initiative, flair & personality to make a mark on this iconic venue.
This role involves working in a dynamic environment with opportunities for career progression.
Main Responsibilities- Manage, coordinate and ensure the smooth running of allocated events.
- Design and implement new business opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of industry competitor marketing strategies.
- Liaise with other departments for seamless information flow and successful event operation.
- Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
- An enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude and driver to deliver exceptional customer service.
- A good work ethic with the ability to work under deadlines and strict time pressures.
- Excellent knowledge of current marketing and social media techniques in the hospitality industry.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to discuss and resolve problems or complaints. Strong food and beverage knowledge - including service standards and current trends - is essential. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment is required, as well as the ability to live and work in Australia.
