Job Summary

This role offers a rare opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment. As a Commercial/ Retail Property Manager's assistant, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day tasks, including tenant and client liaison, financial reporting, invoicing, maintenance coordination, leasing administration, compliance administration, and general administration support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tenant and client liaison: Building strong relationships with tenants and clients to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Financial reporting: Supporting Senior Property Managers with financial reporting on the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Invoicing and accounts: Managing invoices, payments, and accounts receivable/payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  • Maintenance coordination: Coordinating maintenance activities, including scheduling, tracking, and resolving issues.
  • Leasing administration: Assisting with lease administration, including lease renewals, terminations, and amendments.
  • Compliance administration: Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • General administration support: Providing administrative assistance to the team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in residential or commercial property administration.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
  • Highly organized and admin-savvy, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Financial acumen, with attention to detail and ability to manage finances effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that benefit all parties.
  • Maintain a high level of presentation, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality work.
