About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Retail Lease Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our property department, you'll be responsible for handling legal documents, contract approvals, and negotiating offers under the Lease Acts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process legal documents from landlords and solicitors, prepare contract approval forms, and execute them to perfection.
  • Craft comprehensive letters of offer and negotiate the best deals in line with the relevant Lease Acts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate document management for new premises openings, liaising with the broader business to ensure a smooth handover.
  • Gather all required pre-trade ingredients, including leases, licenses, deeds, permits, rent in advance, bank guarantees, insurance, landlord contributions, and storage agreements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in lease administration within the retail or commercial property leasing environment.
  • A background in financial or general paralegal work with a knack for Lease Eagle software and the Retail Leases Act.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines as required.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.
