Job Description

This position involves leading clinical assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, and ensuring all care practices meet regulatory standards and deliver positive outcomes for patients, their families, and staff.

  • Lead and support care staff with clinical expertise and mentorship.
  • Manage staff performance, rosters, and professional development.
  • Deliver patient-focused care that respects individual values and beliefs.
  • Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, personalised care plans.
  • Oversee medical interventions and specialised nursing needs.
  • Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all care activities.
  • Communicate effectively with families, staff, and external health providers.
  • Identify and report risks to the Facility Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Standards and organisational policies.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Implement and monitor infection control procedures.
  • Manage compliments, complaints, and feedback professionally.
