
Mental Health Leader

To guide participants through recovery, fostering a safe and inclusive mental health service. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8–10 members, creating a culture where every experience with the service is safe, respectful and inclusive.
This role combines leadership and care – you'll mentor and guide your team to bring out their strengths, build confidence and support professional growth. You'll work closely with other leaders to ensure care is inclusive, effective and aligned with best practice.

The Support and Connect Team Lead plays a vital role in guiding our team of Peer Wellbeing Navigators. You'll be responsible for leading a team of 8–10 members, fostering a culture where every experience with the service is safe, respectful and inclusive.
About the team:
- Team size: 8–10 members
- Peer wellbeing navigators working alongside participants throughout their recovery journey
You are a compassionate and values-driven leader who understands the importance of lived experience in shaping meaningful mental health and wellbeing supports. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Senior leadership experience (3+ years) in a mental health setting
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Allied Health, Nursing, Psychology or another mental health-related field, with AHPRA registration where applicable
- Ability to lead and motivate a designated lived experience workforce
- Demonstrated experience in embedding lived experience across models of care
