Gastroenterology Clinical Expert

We are seeking an experienced gastroenterologist to join our department and provide high-quality clinical management and intervention for gastroenterology patients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic and consultative services, including endoscopic procedures and virtual outreach clinics. They will work closely with other medical professionals to deliver specialist consultation and outpatient services.
This role involves performing clinical services for inpatients admitted under the gastroenterology service, participating in bed allocation processes, and managing patient flow according to facility requirements.
In addition, the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to equitable healthcare delivery, provide leadership to junior colleagues, and participate in teaching and training programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a primary medical degree registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), with recognised qualifications in Gastroenterology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
