Experienced Medical Professional Wanted for Gastroenterology Position

This is a permanent, part-time position for a Staff Specialist in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Nepean Hospital within the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, participating in quality assurance activities, and contributing to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders
- Participating in quality assurance activities relevant to the specialty
- Contributing to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff
- Engaging in research concepts as required within the department
This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive contribution to the team.
Required skills and qualifications include registration with AHPRA, Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent, and high-level interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate commitment to teaching and supervision of junior medical staff and professional behavior, acting as a role model for junior medical staff.
Additionally, applicants must undergo a Working with Children Check (WWCC) and obtain required vaccinations prior to commencing employment.
