Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chancellor. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, contributing to the University's strategic objectives and governance.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing executive communications, including drafting correspondence, reports, and briefings. They will also coordinate complex scheduling, diary management, meetings, and travel arrangements for domestic and international engagements.
  • The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels.
  • This position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to governance, policy development, and international partnerships. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to committees and working groups, advancing the University's mission locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage executive communications, including drafting correspondence, reports, and briefings.
  2. Coordinate complex scheduling, diary management, meetings, and travel arrangements for domestic and international engagements.
  3. Support the delivery of speeches, media releases, and the Chancellor's social media presence.
  4. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Board of Trustees, University executives, senior staff, and external stakeholders.
  5. Conduct research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and prepare concise executive-level briefings.
  6. Provide advice on sensitive issues, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.
