About the Role

As a key member of the Perenti Group's Human Resources team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operations and business units across Ausdrill. This strategic position requires an individual with exceptional communication skills, who can navigate complex HR matters and build strong relationships with various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager HR/HSEQT to deliver human resources initiatives aligned with the company's strategic plan. Your expertise will be essential in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including operations, employees, parent groups, and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of human resources strategies that support the business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on people management and decision-making.
  • Support the review and maintenance of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Educate and coach managers and employees on HR policies and procedures to promote understanding and adherence.
  • Manage and investigate employee relations and performance management issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an operational HR role, preferably within the mining or resources sector.
  • High level of communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels.
  • Ability to educate and coach various levels of the organisation regarding employment legislation and regulations.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of employment and industrial relations legislation and regulations.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $160,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
