Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic kindergarten team in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who shares our vision of fostering lifelong learning and providing high-quality early childhood education.

This role will involve working collaboratively with the teaching team to plan and implement engaging programs that promote children's curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development. You will also have the opportunity to build positive relationships with families, staff, and the local community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children
  • Work closely with the teaching team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the documentation and evaluation of children's learning and development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective behaviour guidance strategies and play-based learning experiences
  • Maintain a child-safe environment that adheres to national standards and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Child Safety Standard
  • A current Working with Children's Check and Level 2 First Aid certification
