Early Childhood Education Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at a leading early learning center. The successful candidate will have a passion for designing and implementing interdisciplinary, play-based learning experiences.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Childhood Professional to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and VIT Registration.
  • Proven experience with 3 & 4-year-old kindergarten programs.
  • High-level knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current Working with Children check.
  • First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering funded kindergarten programs within our long day care setting. They will work closely with the leadership team to plan diverse educational programs, including community excursions and in-house activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing interdisciplinary, play-based learning experiences.
  • Developing and delivering funded kindergarten programs.
  • Maintaining a safe, healthy environment by implementing safety policies and promoting health and hygiene.
  • Planning and evaluating educational excursions and outdoor experiences to enrich learning and promote environmental stewardship.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and contributing to the early childhood education community.
