Job Summary

Transformational Recruitment is seeking an experienced House Leader to join our team. As a House Leader, you will be responsible for fostering a supportive culture in a professional and solution-focused workplace environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality customer services. They will be responsible for optimising NDIS operations, addressing service delivery gaps, and ensuring compliance with NDIS standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee timely, safe, and high-quality customer services.
  • Optimise NDIS operations and address service delivery gaps.
  • Ensure compliance with NDIS standards.
  • Lead through organisational change and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Performance manage team members.
  • Ensure incidents and risks are managed and responded to in accordance with standard operating procedures, relevant policies, and procedures.
  • Set objectives, coach, mentor, and manage performance, and assist Support workers in developing their skills.
  • Implement conflict resolution practices and management.
  • Ensure that services address participants' needs, are compliant with disability standards, and all associated quality and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Ensure all key performance and reporting requirements as specified by the funding contract are met.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years proven experience in aged care, disability, or community care.
  • A certification in AIN, Disability Support, or Community Services higher than Certificate III would be highly regarded.
  • Extensive understanding of NDIS framework and related legislation, funding, and policies is a must.
  • Relevant experience in a House Lead role.
  • A certification in Leadership and Management would be highly regarded.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Resilience and adaptability in managing organisational change.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to evolving customer needs.
  • Proficiency in data analysis to enhance team performance.
  • Excellent management skills that foster supportive and professional work environments to guide and mentor staff.
  • The skills to encourage open communication with staff positively.
  • Understanding of NDIS funding mechanisms and compliance requirements.
  • Fantastic multitasking capabilities.
  • The ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in a professional and positive manner.
  • A supportive and nurturing workplace culture.
