**Job Overview**As a seasoned mining professional, you will have the opportunity to lead our Outbye operations with expertise and vision. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mine services, roadways, conveyors, secondary support, and general infrastructure maintenance.To excel in this role, you will require strong leadership and interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence and achieve buy-in from key stakeholders. Additionally, you must possess a high level of strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving ability.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all Outbye operations, including mine services, roadways, conveyors, secondary support, and general infrastructure maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and safety performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals and prepare reports on performance metrics, safety incidents, and other relevant data
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar position within an underground mining operation
  • Proven track record of implementing safe working practices and identifying risks
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • High level of strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving ability
