We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our E-7 Development team in a key role. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to support the Wedgetail AEW&C capability and report to the E7 Cored PIO Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage program activities, including planning, scheduling, change management, project management, and enabling functions.
  • Ensure alignment and integration of work within the E-7 Development Program and with the E7 Cored PIO.
  • Coordinate liaising with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements:
  • Proven skills in managing large acquisition scale projects to successful completion.
  • High-level management experience, including customer liaison and business awareness.
  • Experience in finance, scheduling, production control, trade controls, intellectual property management, metrics management, quality, subcontracting, and procurement.
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related field, such as Program Management or Finance.
  • Significant experience in managing sub-contractors and contracting mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial, contracts, and trade control management for large Defence projects.
  • Excellent understanding of project management best practice principles.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for an Australian Department of Defence security clearance to Secret level.
  • High-level leadership and people skills.
  • Ability to navigate and lead through complex change management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
