Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Capability Specialist to support our Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) program. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for analyzing data sources on capability acquisition and sustainment activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Synthesize information and extract strategic insights from analysis
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to inform decision-making
  • Prepare comprehensive briefings for stakeholders and governance bodies
  • Lead or coordinate monthly reporting and risk management initiatives
  • Identify and implement mitigation strategies to manage risk and opportunities
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in Defence acquisition and/or sustainment delivery
  • Familiarity with Defence governance and assurance platforms
  • Experience working with Defence systems (financial, budget, capability requirements, delivery plans)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capacity
