KBR's MSP Aerospace team is currently seeking an experienced Capability Specialist to join our Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) IWP program of work in support of defence projects for the Commonwealth of Australia. This role will focus on qualitative and quantitative analysis of data sources on capability acquisition and sustainment activities, providing governance and assurance support, and assisting with program reporting. The position is fast-paced and diverse, offering opportunities to contribute expertise to the GWEO project team as a subject matter expert on capability analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Synthesize information and extract strategic briefing knowledge from analysis">
  • Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis ">
  • Prepare executive briefings for governance and ad-hoc activities in accordance with Defence policies and procedures">
  • Lead or coordinate monthly governance reporting">
  • Identify and implement mitigation strategies to manage risk, issues, and opportunities related to governance of programmatic objectives">
  • Other tasks as reasonably required related to program delivery of capability acquisition and sustainment">

Qualifications & Ideal Candidate

">

Relevant qualifications or proven industry experience in Defence acquisition and/or sustainment delivery are essential. Experience with Defence governance and assurance platforms (PPRIP, MRM), as well as Defence systems (financial, budget, capability requirements, delivery plans, etc.), is also highly valued. Additionally, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, demonstrated initiative, and capacity to solve problems are key attributes for this role. All candidates must hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
