About the Role
The Project Development Manager will lead and manage the project development and design phase of the BHTSP road infrastructure project, and other allocated QTRIP activities in close liaison with advisors and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the BHTSP project team, consultants and contractors to ensure all members are appropriately skilled and utilised, and to ensure deliverable, time and budgetary requirements are met.
- Monitor and report on BHTSP project progress against predetermined time, cost and quality specifications.
- Provide specialist advice to senior management on all aspects of the BHTSP project and make technical presentations as required.
- Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues associated with the BHTSP project to improve overall performance and ensure value for money.
- Prepare and deliver submissions and reports relating to delivery and technical issues and identify appropriate mitigation strategies to overcome problems or obstacles related to the BHTSP project.
- Promote BHTSP project culture and manage development and implementation of the total project plan in relation to: integration, human resources, scope, communication, time, risk, cost procurement and quality.
- Contribute to BHTSP public consultation activities and ensure effective liaison with community, local governments, and other key stakeholders.
