Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead the development phase of our Bruce Highway Targeted Safety Program (BHTSP) road infrastructure project. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the project to ensure completion within required timeframes, cost, quality, and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the project development and design phase of the BHTSP project, and other allocated activities in close liaison with advisors and key stakeholders.
- Manage the BHTSP project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure all members are appropriately skilled and utilized, and to ensure deliverable, time, and budgetary requirements are met.
- Monitor and report on BHTSP project progress against predetermined time, cost, and quality specifications.
- Provide specialist advice to senior management on all aspects of the BHTSP project and make technical presentations as required.
- Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues associated with the BHTSP project to improve overall performance and ensure value for money.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a transportation or infrastructure environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
