Lendlease is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Western Australian business to work on a long-term project.
As a Commercial Manager with Lendlease, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of this project, including contract administration, procurement strategy, cost controls, budgets, and project cash flow management.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that contracts and documentation contain necessary EH&S inclusions. As a leadership role, you will lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team through to handover.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including contract administration and procurement strategy.
- Develop and implement cost controls, budgets, and project cash flow management.
- Ensure contracts and documentation contain necessary EH&S inclusions.
- Lead and mentor the commercial and administration project team.
- Australian citizenship at the time of application.
- Construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent.
- 10+ years industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $100 million.
- Expertise in contract management, construction law, and quantity surveying, along with financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
- Experience leading, managing, and developing teams of junior staff.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, managing multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Proven experience driving client-focused outcomes and safety initiatives.
