Project Leader Opportunity

We seek a skilled and experienced Project Leader to oversee the ICT services transition for a Federal Government agency. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive strategy, managing risk, guiding internal teams and external relationships through a complex ICT transition, and providing ongoing technical and operational support to the agency's ICT team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing a full project lifecycle for the ICT services transition
  • Establishing an ICT strategy that aligns with broader business goals and objectives
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across departments, ensuring effective communication and trust
  • Supporting the internal ICT function, overseeing daily operations, team performance, and service continuity
  • Providing expert advice to senior stakeholders on systems security, continuity, and vendor management
  • Ensuring the agency's IT systems and data remain secure and reliable throughout the transition
  • Managing project resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring quality and value for money
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in delivering successful ICT projects in the public sector
  • NV1 security clearance (current)
  • Experience managing ICT transitions or shared service implementations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to bring people on board
  • Financial oversight experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, technical teams, and external providers
