Job Title: Critical Environment Program Manager
Overview
As a key player in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in datacenters.
Responsibilities
- Establish strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met.
- Manage and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment to prevent failures.
- Plan and control maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Act as an escalation point for facilities-related issues.
- Coordinate projects from conception to completion.
- Provide routine reporting on critical infrastructure.
- Drive cost and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Identify single points-of-failure in regional datacenters.
- Coordinate audits and compliance verifications.
- Recommend new equipment designs and technologies.
- Share best practices and mentor others.
- Promote a culture of safety, security, and compliance.
