Job Overview

The role of a senior educator involves delivering high-quality learning programs to support students in completing their secondary education. This position requires a strong understanding of teaching principles and the ability to create engaging virtual learning environments.

The educator will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement school objectives, while also contributing to the growth and development of students. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver effective online learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance student engagement and make adjustments for students with disabilities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide objectives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • A relevant teaching qualification and current full registration as a teacher in Queensland.
  • Prior experience in teaching in mainstream schools and online (distance education) settings is an advantage.
  • Able to hold a current qualification in Certificate 4 Training and Assessment.
