Employment Type: Full Time / 38hrs per week

Pay: $38.20ph - $39.35ph

As a Senior Educator at Goodstart, you'll take charge of your own room, leading a team of dedicated Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs. You'll collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve our teaching practices. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures that every learning experience is tailored to meet the needs of all children.

• Prime Location – Conveniently located just 10 minutes from Brisbane City and only minutes from the Gabba, we are nestled in the quiet, desirable suburb of East Brisbane. Surrounded by beautiful heritage homes, our centre is a lovingly converted character Queenslander with outdoor spaces thoughtfully designed to support children's development and their natural desire to explore and play. Our playgrounds feature mature trees that provide natural shade for the children. We have three separate playgrounds, including one that is private and exclusively for the nursery room.
• Easy Access: With bus stops on Mowbray Terrace and also Vulture Street and Stanley Street, Coorparoo Train station is also only a short walk from the centre making commuting a breeze for those who prefer public transport.
• Our Centre – We are a 76 -place centre where children explore a world of learning in 5 rooms, nursery, Toddlers (under 2's who often combine and collaborate together, Senior Toddlers 2-3yrs with access to a large spacious yard with beautiful age-old tree to sit under and engage with the children
• Experienced Leadership – Be guided by our passionate Centre Director, who brings over 17 years of rich experience in early childhood education. She is deeply committed to nurturing a supportive and collaborative environment where every team member feels inspired, valued, and empowered to grow. Her leadership style focuses on mentorship and encouragement, ensuring that our educators have the confidence and resources to deliver the highest quality care and learning experiences for the children. You'll Need

• Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check
