About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Vendor Specialist to join our team at Square. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders, including Debt Collections Agencies and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collections activity and reduce losses in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Accountable for completion of applicable outsourcing activities and ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  • Drive performance to ensure ongoing improvement and collection efficiency.
  • Facilitate annual DCA audits and identify, evaluate, monitor, and escalate third-party risks to the business.
  • Coordinate and manage changes to supplier and third-party management processes.
  • Manage and monitor contracts, including service level agreements.
  • Complete collections reporting requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience in call auditing/call calibrations.
  • Collections experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members and internal business units.
  • Exceptional client focus and ability to form relationships and establish trust.
  • Working knowledge of ANZ Regulatory requirements.
