Job Description:

The People and Culture Manager will be responsible for leading the team in delivering core operational services, providing expert advice to senior management on complex issues, and developing and implementing diversity, inclusion and cultural capability initiatives.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability, as well as the ability to support others to operate within legislative and policy frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver organisational commitments through effective team leadership.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior management on complex people management issues.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to promote diversity, inclusion and cultural capability.
  • Prepare high-quality written documentation for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage significant organisation-wide projects and strategies.
  • Present briefings, workshops and training sessions.
  • Review policy framework and workforce management processes.
Reporting Relationships:

This role reports to the Director, Corporate Services.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with knowledge of Queensland public sector policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
