Role Summary:

We are seeking a talented Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in people's lives and provide excellent customer care. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will help your clients regain their independence and achieve their goals in life and work.

  • You will undertake assessments relevant to your discipline to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans.
  • You will design and implement intervention programmes using occupation to improve functional performance, independence and work capacity.
  • You will identify barriers and design, implement and monitor programs that support people to achieve maximal work participation.
  • You will understand various healthcare and rehabilitation funding schemes and empower your clients to achieve their wellness and recovery goals.
  • You will liaise with clients, family members, funding bodies, medical practitioners, employers and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Australian recognised degree qualification in Social Work (AASW).
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to your clients and customers.
  • The willingness to work in the community and have access to own vehicle.
  • A current or able to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
