
Social Work Specialist

This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with brain injuries and their families.
You will work collaboratively across various settings, including home, community, and centre-based environments, as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments and providing expert counselling
- Collaborating closely with allied health professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Liaising effectively with external care providers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and reporting
- Providing supervision and guidance to students and contributing to service planning and development
The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in social work assessment and intervention, particularly within specialist rehabilitation or mental health settings.
Demonstrated understanding of community-based brain injury rehabilitation is essential, as well as experience working in strengths-based practice, family-centred approaches, and multidisciplinary teams.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can initiate, lead, complete, and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.
A current unrestricted driver's licence is required.

- Advanced knowledge and skills in social work assessment and intervention
- Experience working in specialist rehabilitation or mental health settings
- Demonstrated understanding of community-based brain injury rehabilitation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
