The role of a PeopleSoft Functional Consultant involves providing consultation, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and ongoing support for PeopleSoft solutions. This includes analysing, designing, testing, and deploying enhancements, reports, and application updates and patches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues to gather requirements and deliver PeopleSoft solutions.
  • Analyse, design, test, and deploy PeopleSoft enhancements, reports, and application updates and patches.
  • Define and prepare approach documentation; elicit requirements, specify, and fit-gap; business process modelling and specification; functional design specification for customisations and enhancements (including interfaces and reports); configuration design and build; security design; test planning, preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Provide functional inputs to other streams such as technical upgrade, development, test, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions is essential.
